LYDIA. Sardes. Circa 133 BC-AD 14. AE (Bronze, 16 mm, 5.97 g, 12 h), Diotrephes, magistrate. Laureate bust of Herakles to right, with lion's skin draped around neck. Rev. ΣAPΔIANΩN - ΔIOTPЄΦ/HΣ Apollo standing front, head to left, holding crow in his right hand and laurel branch in his left. BMC 32-36 var. (differing magistrates). Leschhorn, Lexicon of Greek Coin Inscriptions -. SNG Copenhagen 492-499 var. (differing magistrates). Possibly unpublished with this magistrate. Adjustment marks as made, otherwise, very fine.
